Ingleburn Business Chamber’s Guest speaker for February 24, is Catherine Payne, General Manager External Affairs & Communication Western Sydney Airport.
Catherine Payne is responsible for leading the strategic communication and engagement with media, government, and other stakeholders to enable Western Sydney International (Nancy Bird-Walton) Airport (WSI) to deliver on its purpose of generating social and economic prosperity for the region by delivering a thriving airport precinct in Western Sydney.
Catherine joined WSI in January 2023 enthusiastic about contributing to such a large and legacy project. She has worked at senior levels in both federal and state government, global telecommunications, water, energy, oil, agriculture and the environment. Australia’s new airport is built for the future, and when it opens in late 2026 it will be a global gateway that connects the world to Western Sydney.
Proceedings will commence with registrations at 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start time and finishing by 8.30 pm.
