Western Sydney International will include a single 3.7km runaway and will service both domestic and international flights when it opens in 2026.
The update will include the current construction progress of Sydney’s new airport, which started in 2018, and provide an insight into the economic benefits and opportunities of the new airport to the Western Sydney region. Also focusing on major construction packages, final terminal render designs/flythrough, community engagement undertaken by WSA, and timeline of works.
